Rain Sensor

This sensor will be used to detect the rain.  When a drop of water hits this sensor it will input “Rain Detected”.

Set up:

• Jumper is connected to the ground wire
• GPIO 21 is used
• Jumper wise is connected to the 5V pin

 

This is where a drop of water hits the sensor. (the red LED that is lighting , shows that something has touched the sensor)

 

When the drop of water hits the sensor ‘Rain Detected’ was outputted.
